Interactive Event

”Moldova” National Museum Complex of Iasi organizes the interactive event entitled ”Painted Eggs”, which will take place on 31 March-1 Aprilie 2007 in the hall at the ground floor of the Palace of Culture.

The event is organized by the Ethnographic Museum of Moldavia within ”Moldova” National Museum Complex of Iasi and will include an interactive section whose objective is to initiate the large public into the craft of Easter egg painting with the help of some renowned folk artists of Bucovine.

The official opening will take place on Saturday, at 10:30, and until 17:00 there will be interactive demonstrations. On Sunday, the programme will include only visiting, with the possibility of purchasing the exhibited items, and verbal explanations, without demonstrations. Also on Sunday, starting with 16:00, the public will attend a concert of sacred music sustained b”Lyrodia”  Chorus of the Church of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ in Iasi, conductor George Dumitriu.
