Extraodinary Opera Concert

at Mihail Kogalniceanu Museum

”Mihail Kogalniceanu” Memorial Museum (11, M. Kogalniceanu str.) within ”Moldova” National Museum Complex of Iasi announces the Extraordinary Opera Concert  sustained on the date of 16 August 2009, at 18.00 hours, by the bass baritone Andrei Khmyzau of the Republic of Belarus,  to  the piano accompaniment of  prof. Gabriela Lipceanu PhD.

The tour in Romania in summer 2009 includes a series of four  concerts in Bacau, Iasi, Botosani and Suceava and is carried out under the slogan ”Bridge to the East”. The program contains works by George Enescu, Frederic Chopin, Piotr Ilici Ceaikovschi, Modest Musorgski, Serghei Rahmaninov, Aleksandr Borodin, Aleksandr Grecianinov and Dmitri Lybin.

The project is carried out in partnership with the County Direction for Culture, Religious Affairs and National  Cultural Heritage.
