Exhibition Cucuteni - The Magic of Ceramic in Chisinau

Within the Phare CBC 2006 CrossBorder Project Cucuteni - The Magic of Ceramic

”Moldova” National Museum Complex of Iasi, in partnership with the National History and Archaeology Museum of Chisinau, ”Stefan cel Mare” History Museum of Vaslui County and ”Cucuteni pentru mileniul III”  Foundation in Bucharest announce the opening of the exhibition CUCUTENI – THE MAGIC OF CERAMICS  that shall take place on 23 July at 15.00 hours in Chisinau.  

The exhibition has been organized within the Neighboring Project between Romania – Republic of Moldova 2004 – 2006 PHARE CBC 2006, Priority 2 – ”People to people” actions carried out with the financial support of the European Union and implemented by ”Moldova” National Museum Complex in Iasi,  and shall be opened to the public during the period 23 July – 6 August 2009 at National History and Archaeology Museum of Chisinau (121a, 31 august 1989 str.) while during the period 14-31 August it shall also be presented in Iasi.

By the artistic refinement and spectacular character of the displayed artifacts, the  exhibition can contribute to raising awareness as for the values of the culture and civilization throughout the space east of the Carpathians.
