Exhibition Cucuteni-The Magic of Ceramics in Iasi

"Moldova” National Museum Complex in Iasi, in partnership with the National History and Archeology Museum in Chisinau, ”Stefan cel Mare” History Museum of Vaslui County and ”Cucuteni pentru mileniul III” Foundation in Bucharest announce the opening of the exhibition CUCUTENI – THE MAGIC OF CERAMICS that shall take place on Friday  14 August, 12.00 hours, at the Museum of the Union on 14  Lapusneanu Str. 

The exhibition is prepared within the Neigboring Project between Romania – the Republic of Moldova 2004 – 2006 PHARE CBC 2006, Priority 2 – Actions ”People to people”, carried out with the financial support of the  European Union and implemented by ”Moldova” National Museum Complex in Iasi. The exhibition shall be opened to the public during the period 14 August – 31 August 2009 and shall  include highly valuable evidence of the Cucutenian art and spirituality on the territory east of the Carpathians.
